MÜSİAD USA Attends National Consultation Meeting at Diyanet Center of America

MÜSİAD USA participated as an invited guest in the Association Presidents Consultation and Evaluation Meeting organized by the Diyanet Center of America, held at the Maryland Diyanet Turkish Center.

The meeting was organized and chaired by Religious Affairs Counselor Doc. Dr. Fatih Kanca, who delivered the opening address and emphasized the importance of coordination, unity, and strategic planning among mosque associations across the United States, particularly ahead of Ramadan.

Representing MÜSİAD USA, President Yavuz Orta attended the meeting together with Dallas Diyanet Mosque President and MÜSİAD USA Board Member Kemal Üstün. Participants exchanged views on the current state and future direction of mosques in the U.S.

The gathering brought together presidents and board members of 38 Diyanet-affiliated mosques from across the country, as well as religious attachés serving at Turkish consulates nationwide. During the meeting, New York Religious Attaché Ali Tost presented information on the roles and service conditions of Diyanet officials in the U.S.

Discussions also focused on preparations for Ramadan 2026, with planned programs and coordination frameworks reviewed. The meeting was widely regarded as productive and constructive, contributing to stronger cooperation and community engagement across mosques in America.
