Since the day it was founded, MUSIAD has not only limited its activities, which it has carried out in line with its values, to the calendar of a “businessmen’s association”, but has also taken it among its primary responsibilities to identify current problems for the development of our country and to generate ideas for their solution. In this context, it has published reports every year discussing both economic and social problems. These reports, which connect the nerve endings of the economy and academia, the business world and the bureaucracy, are also important in that they are studies that provide the connection between theory and practice, beyond just identifying problems and suggesting solutions. The Turkish Economy Reports, in which we deal with a different subject every year, have taken their place in the literature as a qualified research that reveals which steps should be taken to approach the ideal situation in the economy, with concrete suggestions. Our reports, prepared with the contributions of Turkey’s leading academics and experts, offer comprehensive solutions for overcoming the economic problems our country is facing.
